At Cornerstone, we believe church should be one of the most engaging and life-giving places on earth. We are a place where people from every background can encounter a God who is real, relevant, and active in their lives today.

Whether you have followed God for years, are new to faith, or are simply exploring what you believe, you will find a place to belong here. Our desire is to walk alongside people at every stage of their journey, helping them discover God's purpose, experience authentic community, and grow in their relationship with Him.

Cornerstone's story began in the 1940s when a group of dedicated believers traveled throughout Florida planting churches and sharing the message of Jesus. In 1949, a small congregation of about fifteen people began meeting in a home just north of downtown Ocala. Through sacrificial faith, revival services, and a passion for reaching their community, the church continued to grow.

Over the decades, Cornerstone worshipped in homes, tents, rented facilities, and several church buildings as God blessed the congregation with growth. Faithful leaders and church families invested their time, resources, and energy to establish a lasting ministry in Ocala.

After years of growth and multiple relocations, the church purchased the property that is now home to Cornerstone's campus on SW 66th Street. Construction began in 2008, and the first service in the current facility was held on Mother's Day in 2009.

In 2019, Pastor Aaron Sizemore was elected pastor, and Bishop C.P. Williams assumed the role of bishop after faithfully serving as pastor since 1992. Today, they continue to serve together, building on a rich heritage of faith while leading Cornerstone into the future.
